As Executive Vice President of Urban Operations at Interscope Geffen A&M, Nicole Wyskoarko manages the label’s red-hot A&R team, keeping projects on track and troubleshooting problems across the urban roster of the company at a time when hip hop is dominating the charts.
It’s a role she’s been working towards ever since graduating from the prestigious Annenberg School of Communications at USC and Brooklyn Law School, and landing an internship at Island Def Jam Records, where over the next 15 years she would rise to Senior Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs for East Coast Labels at UMG. While in that position she managed projects for Kanye West and all of G.O.O.D. Music, Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Rick Ross and Alessia Cara, to name a few.
In 2016 she became a Partner at the much-admired entertainment firm of Carroll, Guido & Groffman LLP, building a client list that included Meek Mill, Playboi Carti, DJ Mustard, H.E.R., 070 Shake, Dave East Lil Mosey, A Boogie and more, and negotiated deals for existing firm clients such as Andre 3000 and served as counsel to 300 Entertainment. Her vast experience working in both business and creative worlds have made her uniquely suited to this important position at Interscope.
